The goat tapes were a series of six cassette tapes released from 1993 to 1997. They documented the creative output of eric* during that same period. Featuring material ranging from awkward Casio and drum machine ditties to noisy sonic experiments, these home recordings are very raw (many recorded in one take). The musicianship is as questionable as the composition. Definitely not recommended for the average listener, the goat tapes are a must have for any serious collector of Peoria musical ephemera. instruments used were a Kawai R-50e drum machine and a Casio Rapman keyboard.
recorded in my bedroom at the Roanoke Apartments on Hamilton Blvd in Peoria using a Fostex cassette 4track.
please don't ask who it was about, because i'm not telling.

It sounds like wank (my writing) but I don't have time to care..
"These recordings represent a clear window into the existence of a young man without hope for the future and having grown up in the broken wasteland of Peoria. These recordings are true to the times they were done in and true to the person who did them. Done with a great black/bleak sense of humour, which I enjoy.
Timeless... and relevant still today."
