Not a band. Just a guy looking to start/join one.

Since there's no obvious link to post want ads on this site, unless I'm jsut stupid and not seeing it, that's what's gonna go here. I'm a 25-year-old bassist/rhythm guitarist who just moved back to the Peoria area after a 9-year absence, and I'm very much interested in getting something going or joining an act that needs someone like myself. I play bass decently, and list amongst my influences Type O Negative, Tool, early Mudvayne, Primus, and the Smashing Pumpkins. I also play some rhythm guitar and have vocal experience. I'm mostly interested in playing bass for an original heavy metal/hard rock band, but am willing to try a lot of different styles, provided the music played is original in nature.
