Jazz and punk and blues: a recipe for tasty tunes of terrific power and force.
The Skabs ,wild show
I don't know if they invented jazz punk, but they did put a cool new spin to punk rock on their skab tv show. The thing that impresses me with these guys is they are always doing something different something funny and always experimenting.
Hatred episode of SkabTV
Knocking the New York out of some failed female punkster groupies, the Hatred episode of SkabTV features Halgar's curious boutique with Chauncy not behaving. Be sure to try on a Red Wiggler while you're shopping.

not allowed to like The Skabs
Sirs: We have formed a pact to not allow ourselves to like, listen to, or watch live streaming internet video of The Skabs.
I'm sorry it had to come to this, but your refusal to be a real band, and your careless disregard of doing live shows, like a regular band, all this anti-music scene behavior, leads us to view your schtick as unnecessary impeevements that make us normal bands upset and feeling old fashioned. We're not old fashioned, we're traditional. Long live bar rock. Down with neo-punk.
Thank you.
pact to avoid The Skabs
ATTENTION: It is being reported in the underground music networks of Peoria, IL that a militant group of females has signed a pact that they will not purchase, imitate, discuss, or listen to any music or videos by The Skabs, a local sound ensemble.
Furthermore, they are encouraging random others to also not care about or like The Skabs.
Don't be fooled by their misunderstandings and contempt: The Skabs are alright!
an emotional response to pact members
...is not necessary.
We know they are merely envious. Where is their hair? Where are their comedy skits? Where is their new CD coming out on a known record label? Where is their Web 2.0? Where is there multimedia global anarchy laboratory? Where is their beer sponsor?
Nowhere, that's where.
The Skabs would like to thank Pabst Brewery Company for their sponsorship and liquid support, and Black and Blue Records for their artistic insight to spot a good band that makes people dance, buy product, and get angry.

The Skabs on NME RockNRolla promo
"Hug a Tree for Droogy" reggae jam is a featured music video by The Skabs on New Musical Express...congratulations for being part of the RockNRolla film promotion, Gabby! Movie out Sept. 5th!
how did that happen? weird!
I'ts almost too true to see and believe. so tell me skabs, how did your team get involved in promoting a major Warner Bros./UK movie -- this RockNRolla film?
Firts Pabst, now Warner Bros.
You have a seemingly bright future, ick!
SKABADEMIC
Well it doesn't have much to do with us;it's our friends, fans, and people in the industry that keep bringing us into the limelight. We just thought doing a live web cast every week would allow us to drink more shirk all the heavy lifting of equipment and all the set up.Who knew it would turn into this worldwide Skabademic.I can barely keep up with all the t-shirt orders;and now with our new record coming out next week and the European tour,it is feeling like a damn job.I just wanted to hang out with my Skab brothers, have a few beers,a few laughs, and play some tunes. Our video that was chosen to promote the new Warner Bros film release was really just a spoof video used as part of a comedy bit.We do appreciate all that has happened for us;we just didn't plan it.G
